Therapy Style

Welcome! My name is Sophia Venable. I enjoy working with adults, couples, teens, children and families. I am passionate about healthy relationships and constructive communication. I am an associate marriage and family therapist. I received my Master of Arts degree from Phillips Graduate Institute in Los Angeles. I am continuing my education, currently finishing a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology. I hope to be qualified to participate in the exciting frontier of psychedelic therapies for PTSD, OCD, anxiety, and couple's work.

My education and multicultural upbringing have been steeped in LGBTQ+ awareness and experience. While feeling comfortable and qualified to process a variety of cultural experiences, I am also very comfortable being corrected or educated in order to understand your point of view. I believe that curiosity and compassion are harmonious with love. I look forward to creating a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space for you so that we can work together toward your emotional freedom and healthy relationships.
