It’s crucial to understand that when we experience high levels of anxiety or depression, it’s our mind and body alerting us to step back and to evaluate our true feelings about a situation. Blocking or pushing away feelings due to embarrassment, guilt or shame can cause emotional distress, effect daily living, and most importantly our relationships. In all my sessions I bring warmth, compassion, and empathy with the goal of personal empowerment for you. I love working with all people at different stages of their life and integrate somatic work (connecting the mind & body/nervous system) with the therapeutic process.
