Life presents each of us with different challenges, hardships, transitions, and seasons of change. Although our individual journeys are unique, we are not meant to travel through life bearing our burdens alone. My goal as a therapist is to connect with my clients and provide space for healing, understanding, growth, and peace. My approach is to help clients discover and use their own strengths to be able to bear whatever life’s journey has in store.
My educational background includes a B.S. in Social Sciences from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I studied different cultures and then went on to get my M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. My training has equipped me to treat those dealing with anxiety, depression, family issues, couples/marriage issues, identity issues, ageing, Alzheimer’s/dementia, and end of life issues to name a few. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, and the key to successful therapy is your willingness to be present with an open mind.
