A common message that we receive in life is that we will be happy when a situation changes, but satisfaction can be obtained through what we make of each situation. I’m grateful to have been able to share the intimate nature of this work with clients for nearly five years now. The greatest tools I can instill in my clients is a sense of empowerment and a deep understanding on what it means to be human for oneself. Once someone truly believes in their own endless capabilities, the world of possibilities opens up to them. I foster this sense of empowerment by using a combination of Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, Mindfulness, and through the lens of trauma-informed compassion. I have the pleasure of being trained in a variety of conditions and populations: depression, anxiety, trauma, identity-development, LGBTQ+ community, adolescents, suicidality, mood disorders, burnout/stress, self-esteem, grief and loss.

Education.

My educational background includes:
  • Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSU Channel Islands
