I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Art’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara. I use a humanistic/somatic approach, meeting my clients where they are and providing a safe space for them to progress at their own pace. I firmly believe in the power of living in the present moment and embracing one's authenticity for healing and growth.
In my therapeutic practice, I incorporate various methods tailored to my clients' needs. I use the Enneagram, a personality system, to guide individuals and couples towards a deeper understanding of their traits, fostering self-compassion and compassion for their partners. When working with teens and children, I employ art therapy and play therapy to engage and help them process their emotions effectively.
I am a trauma-informed therapist who is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy) from the Institute of Creative Mindfulness under, Steven Desinger, PsyD., and Dr. Jamie Marich, PhD.
